Polska Grupa Biogazowa receives WNP Awards!

On February 3, 2025, in Warsaw, during a gala accompanying EEC Trends, the WNP Awards were presented by the editorial team of the WNP portal. These awards honor individuals, institutions, and enterprises that had a significant impact on the Polish economy in 2024. Polska Grupa Biogazowa, part of TotalEnergies, was awarded the WNP Award as the leader in electricity production from biogas in Poland.

“The investment dynamism and strong impulse to utilize the potential of Polish biogas have placed the company at the helm of the development of this important sector for Polish energy. The group is part of the global company TotalEnergies. It brings valuable competencies and know-how to the national energy and heat sector. It has its own research and development company. By implementing the idea of a circular economy, PGB offers farms the management of organic waste and the use of digestate for crop fertilization,”

– read the justification for the award.

On behalf of Polska Grupa Biogazowa, the award was received by Łukasz Semeniuk, General Director of PGB.

“I would like to thank the organizers for such an important distinction, which in fact honors our entire industry, so important for the entire economy. The development of infrastructure around biogas, a green fuel, allows us to become independent from external imports. Let us remember that we are using only a part of the potential of the Polish market, and we have an appetite for much more. Once again, I thank the entire team I have had the pleasure to work with,”

– said Łukasz Semeniuk during the Gala
