Annual production capacity exceeds 0.5 TWh of biomethane equivalent, and the Group’s ambition is to reach a production level of 2 TWh by 2030, whilst expanding its business profile to include the purification of biogas to biomethane quality and its injection into the gas network.
The biogas plant converts bio-waste into renewable electricity and heat through anaerobic digestion. It enables waste to be managed safely, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and produces fertiliser of high biological value.
